We love a good break-up song and Sydney pop punk trio A Swift Farewell have got us covered this week with their latest single ‘FWMH’ (‘Fuck With My Head’).

The track marks the band’s third release this year and delivers a heartfelt, dynamic pop melody about going through the ebbs and flows of a toxic relationship. ‘FWMH’ is also A Swift Farewell’s very first collaboration, featuring Terra vocalist Cassie Jade. Guitarist Sarah Bonnet shares:

“We really wanted a second voice, a feature to emphasize the feeling of this song being about a relationship. Cassie’s voice ended up being perfect for it. Ryo was so nervous on asking Cassie, but as soon as he asked, she immediately said yes without listening to it. When we heard the first mix we knew we created something amazing, and had to show the world.”

While ‘FWMH’ puts Cassie’s vocals in the spotlight, the song comes about with a bittersweet moment. Earlier this week, Terra announced they’ll be finishing up as a band after a decade of playing shows around Australia together.

Australian pop punk is far from dead though. Especially when you’ve got a great act like A Swift Farewell keeping the flame lit with ‘FWMH’!
