If you’ve been living under a rock for the last few years, you may not have heard of this fiery duo from Manchester, England. But I am here to pull you out from the darkness and jam to Hot Milk’s brand new single ‘Bloodstream‘ and hopefully convince you that Hannah Mee and Jim Shaw are your new favourite rock act.
‘Bloodstream‘ celebrates the temporary light in a world full of constant darkness. Through its pulsing rays of synth laced inbetween 2000s pop punk goodness, the song acts as a reminder that it is okay to let yourself go every now and then and enjoy the beauty surrounding us.
If you’re like me and have been an avid supporter of Hot Milk since their inception, you’ll instantly recognise the band’s earlier material seeping through as bursts of melodies throw us back to their 2019 debut EP, Are You Feeling Alive?
With that being said, ‘Bloodstream‘ definitely makes us feel alive and we are pretty stoked to get their full-length debut, A Call To the Void in our ears next month.
