Melbourne pop punk outfit Between You and Me are taking some time out of their hectic international touring schedule this October and heading back to the motherland for a small run of intimate shows up and down the East Coast!
Aptly titled the Shit Yeah! Australian Tour, the guys will kick off this run in their hometown of Melbourne on September 30 before heading across to Adelaide. The following weekend, fans from Brisbane and Sydney will get to catch the boys live at Black Bear Lodge and Wayward.
Since dropping their album Armageddon at the end of 2021, Between You and Me have since parted ways with Hopeless Records, but that setback hasn’t actually set them back at all. The gang have been relentlessly touring North America and recently supported Slowly Slowly and You Me At Six in Australia. Oh, and did we mention they dropped new single ‘Nevermind‘ earlier this year too?
Bassist James Karagiozis is stoked for this new run which will be the band’s first Aussie headliner since August 2022, sharing that this is the show to be at if you’re hanging for some old school BYAM:
“We are still working on new music but we wanted to do a headliner for the fans and the ones that have stuck by us through all the bullshit. We are gonna throw in a bunch of old tracks, maybe some deep cuts. So if you wanna hear something from our first EP or some songs from Everything is Temporary, show the fuck up and come get sweaty with us!”
Joining Between You and Me will be upcoming Sydney pop punk acts Grenade Jumper and Besties. Tickets are available now and because these venues are on the smaller scale, you can expect these to fly. Grab yours here
