We froth an emotive post-hardcore belter as much as the next person and Welsh post-hardcore outfit Casey have just the track for you. ‘Puncture Wounds to Heaven‘ embraces graceful verses while also showcasing the chaotic mind through gritty, rugged soundscapes.

Vocalist Tom Weavers shares:

“The ‘coming up for air’ sensation as you briefly snap out of a depressive episode, and survey how life has progressed around you. This is a core theme that carries throughout the new record, and musically the dichotomy between the smooth verses and the chaotic middle 8 really demonstrated that in a visceral way for us.”

After calling it a day back in 2018, the new track is the first of what’s to come since they made their return to music earlier this year. The band has also announced they’re joining the Greyscale Records clan, joining the likes of Alpha Wolf, Make Them Suffer and Paledusk. With such a strong team behind them this year, you can expect Casey to be a compelling act to watch over the next few months.
