Being a Brisbane-based platform, we couldn’t be more stoked that CVLTFEST is setting up shop in our very own city in 2024. Following its inaugural event in Melbourne last year, the mini-festival of sorts devised by the same brains as headliners Alpha Wolf, CVLTFEST 2024 will see an all-star metalcore line-up featuring both international and local bands.
On Saturday 24th February, Eatons Hill will play host to the Aussie ‘core legends stirring up a storm both here and overseas alongside the mighty Emmure (USA) and the incredible EDM/metalcore crossover giants from Japan, Crossfaith. They’ll also be joined by Ocean Grove, Paledusk (also from Japan), Ten56 (France), Diamond Construct, Crave Death and Vilify. Alpha Wolf proudly share:
“Being able to present a night such as CVLTFEST is one of the most rewarding things we’ve felt we’ve ever been able to do as a band. Being in a position to welcome some of our favourite acts from around the world to all share a stage with us in one mega night of incredible music feels so special to us.
“Our first CVLTFEST in 2022 was a day we still remember as clear as day, everyone walked away from that day with a smile on their face, everything from the amazing acts that performed to the amazing local stalls, showcasing everything that Australia and the world has to offer for all faces that support alternative music.
In 2024 we wanted to offer something new by bringing it to a brand new location, a place that has always felt as our second home being Brisbane, QLD. Everything that made CVLTFEST great the first time will be returning as well as much more, we can’t believe the world class acts that were happy to jump onboard and the amazing lineup we were able to curate, this day will be one that will get talked about for years to come as “that show”
