On Windwaker’s Love in the Dark tour last August, did you happen to fall head over heels for a little UK band known as Caskets? We certainly did, especially with lead vocalist Matt Flood’s edgy melodic undertones. Well, if you’ve been waiting for these guys to return down under, it’s your lucky day!
Caskets have announced this week that they will make their way back to Australia this May for a special string of headliners celebrating their latest album, Reflections. These shows will see the post-hardcore trailblazers hit most major cities, including Perth, as well as shows in Newcastle and Wollongong. Flood shares:
“Coming to Australia to play our own headline shows is more than a dream come true! It’s something every musician dreams of but never really expects it to become a reality. We’re very proud and very lucky to have this opportunity to come back to Australia and rip up some shows with some insanely talented bands; but first, I must hug a koala!”
Speaking of said talented bands, Caskets will be joined by some very special guests. Seattle pop/rockers The Home Team will act as main support, debuting their catchy tunes in Australia. Going off of their latest singles ‘Brag‘ and ‘Loud‘, we are feeling similar vibes to 2000s rock outfit The Audition blended in with Issues. Prepare for stages to get lit as soon as you get your first taste of The Home Team.
