Diamond Construct have always been one of my favourite upcoming metalcore acts in this country. Why? each time they drop a new song, it is just as refreshing and invigorating as the next one.

‘Hell Inside You’ is very much that, but honestly, so much more. It’s innovating metalcore that sees the band veer down a path not many of their peers go down. From its pulsating, chaotic guitar glitches to high-energy EDM-inspired melodies, it is an absolute tune of chaos in the best way.

“This song was written on tour with Void Of Vision in late ’22. We had this awful Air BnB for 3 days but for some reason it felt like a good creative space to work in. Naturally, we stayed up late trading demos between ourselves until the demo for Hell Inside You played. We instantly felt this one would become a DC classic – it’s dark and blends electronic sounds with crazy guitar effects with a strong vocal hook. Three of the things we look for in a Diamond Construct song.”

Following up on last month’s track ‘Switchblade OST‘, this is the second single to drop from the band’s forthcoming album, Angel Killer Zero. Releasing with Greyscale Records everywhere on April 26, the boys will celebrate its release by embarking on an East Coast tour presented by our favourite emo kids, AM//PM. Grab tickets now if you haven’t already.
