Pop punk is having a resurgence in 2024 and we couldn’t be more stoked. If you’ve been lapping up this resurgence, then you’re probably going to dig this local artist. Melbourne musician Jett Rose has unveiled her brand new single ‘Y.O.U.’
Launching straight in with high tempo punk guitars, ‘Y.O.U.’ takes on the reigns of the genre’s biggest issues at heart. Rose tackles the anxiety of a new relationship through a hook-laden chorus and while it doesn’t sound too far off from her North American counterparts, Taylor Acorn and LØLØ, Jett Rose is representing Australia and is reminding us of the golden years of Avril Lavigne, Simple Plan and All Time Low.
‘Y.O.U‘ is the first release of Jett Rose’s evolving era and you can likely expect more pop punk mayhem from her in the next few months.
