It’s a fantastic start to the week for heavy music fans in Australia. Just as we’re still recovering from the onslaught of Bring Me the Horizon being in the country just last weekend, The Amity Affliction announced this morning that they’ll be returning to the motherland for a very special run of shows.
The boys will bring their 10-year anniversary of Let the Ocean Take Me current touring run in the USA back home to Australia this November, playing five massive shows for the fans that have stuck by them this past decade. Let the Ocean Take Me has been one of their biggest records to date with many tracks like ‘Pittsburgh‘, ‘Don’t Lean On Me‘ and ‘Death’s Hand‘ making a regular appearance in their setlist.
Presented by Live Nation, The Amity Affliction will be bringing to Australia the return of US horror-core legends Ice Nine Kills, who haven’t been back here since pre-covid times. Led by frontman Spencer Charnas, the band will make their first appearance down under since 2019’s Good Things festival appearance.
Alongside Ice Nine Kills also from the USA is metalcore outfit We Came As Romans, who were just on our shores last year on their own headliner. Rounding up this rad bill of metalcore will be Melbourne outfit Heavensgate, who are more than ready to act as the openers with their frantic blend of hardcore/metal.
Tickets for all shows go on sale Thursday 2 May at 12pm AEST. Head here for all the details.
