90s punk legends The Offspring are back and re-energized in 2024 with the news that the band will unleash their eleventh studio album, SUPERCHARGED this October. Kicking off this album is leading single, ‘Make It All Right‘ and after one listen, it does sound like Dexter and Noodles are stemming back to their pop punkier days of the 2000s.
Featuring a memorable hook and guitar-driven melody, the song is a light-hearted fun bop that celebrates a strong relationship with your better half: “And you make it all right, And it’s gonna be fine, We’re like partners in crime, And you make it all right.”
The Offspring are no strangers to changing their music up through each album. When their first album in a decade, Let the Bad Times Roll, dropped during the pandemic, they flew back into our lives with iconic groovy punk tunes that have made them quite the renowned act of our youth. After a hefty world tour including their very first headliner of Australia (alongside Sum 41) back in 2022, the band are far from the end and Supercharged is once again going to offer fans plenty more Offspring music to devour.
“We wanted this record to have pure energy – from the start to the finish! That’s why we called it SUPERCHARGED. From the height of our aspirations to the depths of our struggles, we talk about it all on this record…in a way that celebrates the life that we share and where we are now. Our single “Make It All Right” is a great example of this because it talks about the people in our lives who make us feel strong when we are feeling low – our partners in crime who make us feel all right.
The album was recorded in three different locations this time around: Maui, Vancouver, and our home studio in Huntington Beach, and together with our producer Bob Rock everything came out awesome. I feel like this is the best we have ever sounded! We’ve been rocking out and headbanging to it for months! And we can’t wait for you guys to hear it!”
