There’s a new band to sweat over in Australian pop punk and we reckon it’s about time you heard more about Tiny Red Houses.
Hailing from Melbourne’s east, this fiery trio blasts through with infectious hooks and cataclysmic energy that’s destined to bring them straight to the forefront of the scene. Frontwoman Nat Simms sings with a fierce personality that’s just as sweet as it is powerful — kind of like Tonight Alive’s Jenna McDougall and we cannot get enough.
They’ve just announced their latest single ‘More‘ and it simmers in our veins from the first fiery riff. In 2024, the pop punk game is strong and it’s a challenge to produce a high-energy track that remains stuck in your ears. But this little band from nowhere have cooked up the goods.
“We’ve been working on ‘More’ for about a year, and it was one of the first songs we wrote together. Lyrically, it’s about feeling stuck, like you’re being held back from following your dreams. Like you’re running in place, and you can’t quite put your finger on it.”
Mike Johnson, Tiny Red Houses guitarist
The band are set to make their live debut at the inaugural mini-fest, Pizza Planet in Melbourne this month. Sharing the stage with Drastic Park, Paperweight and Headstrong is not a bad way to kick their music career off at all. Get your tickets here
