Bad Neighbour Prepare to Kick Off ‘Millions’ Tour

Brisbane emo/pop punk act Bad Neighbour will kick off their album release tour later this month. The short run of shows up the east coast will celebrate the band’s latst debut LP, Millions and are bringing along with them a stack of local Aussie supports.

Fronting as main support will be special guest Darcy Baker, who’s been known to pen some cut throat pop punk songs with sad boy feels. As the two acts make their way through Newcastle, Wollongong, Sydney, Melbourne and up to Brisbane, they’ll be joined by five newcomers to the scene:

October 24 at Hamilton Station Hotel, Newcastle

Dreamboat

October 25 at Burdekin Hotel, Sydney

Great Job!

October 26 at LaLaLa’s in Wollongong

Darcy Baker not appearing*

November 2 at Bergy Bandroom, Melbourne

Tiny Red Houses

November 15 at Valley Loft, Brisbane

Garden Eyes and Pornstar Supercar

Millions is a heartfelt, vulnerable representation of Bad Neighbour’s most promising collection of songs yet. As vocalist Cooper Riley wears his heart on his sleeve, the music comes together with a punchy blend of pop punk go-getters that’s going to draw in a crowd.

“We’re incredibly excited to share this release with the world, writing this record was very cathartic for us and to have something palpable we can share with people is very special.”

– Bad Neighbour

A local act we are incredibly stoked for on this run of shows is pop punk four-piece Tiny Red Houses, who we brought to your attention back in July at Pizza Planet. Since then, these guys have built some major hype by jumping on a few more gigs including a huge stint opening for The Smith Street Band next month.

We’re absolutely stoked to be playing with BOTH of these artists, Bad Neighbour & Darcy Baker. They’re that breed of artist that just keep getting better with every release, and to even be considered to share a bill with them is a massive compliment! We can’t wait!”

– Mike Johnson, Tiny Red Houses guitarist
