Brisbane’s Headwreck are back in their second release of 2024 with their toughest single thus far. ‘Low Blow!‘ comes off the back of the band’s recent tour announcement alongside Windwaker, Thousand Below and Diamond Construct in February next year.

While tentatively showing their love for tech-metal and blastbeats, the boys are letting loose and are showing a bigger personality than witnessed before. Vocalist Connor Hickman’s vocals offer up some groovy hip hop style elements on the verses before truly coming out of his shell on the main chorus.

“LOW BLOW! is about that person that’s gonna get what’s coming to them. They threw some cheap shots and it’s only matter of time until it comes back to hit them.”

– Headwreck

With the song sitting nicely at just over two minutes, fans are ultimately given a chaotic teaser for what’s to come from the boys as we head into 2025. Similarly to what ‘Buzzsaw‘ just a few months ago, ‘Low Blow!‘ marks enormous gains and promises to be the beginning of Headwreck’s most exciting chapter yet.
