It’s been quite some time since they’ve played some shows for us, but Aussie homegrown rockers Slowly Slowly are set to make 2025 their bitch with a nationwide tour next April. The tour will come off of the back of the release of their fifth studio album, Forgiving Spree on January 24.
“It’s been a while between drinks—we couldn’t be more ecstatic to announce this homecoming tour. These are some serious rooms and we couldn’t think of a better way to drop punt our new album ‘Forgiving Spree’ off into the stratosphere. We are intent on making these shows feel both like huge spectacles, but also intensely intimate – join us for our biggest headlines to date, across our beloved home country after almost 18 months of time away. We can’t wait to see you.“
“Also, the icing on the cake is that we get to hang with our friends in Honey Revenge (US) and soon to be new best buds Grayscale (US). Who would have thought a little band from Melbourne Aus could bring an international bill together? Not us haha. We’ll have our work cut out for us keeping up with the immense talent on the stages each night.”
– Ben Stewart, Slowly Slowly vocalist
In incredibly exciting developments for the PitPass crew especially, we are ecstatic to hear that American pop punk duo Honey Revenge are making their live debut in Australia as main support to Slowly Slowly. The band’s full-length debut, Retrovision, hasn’t left our regular playlist since its release last year and while we were anticipating a slot on New Bloom Festival, the fact they’re making their way here is huuuge. Expect their explosive vibrant tunes of bouncy pop to take over Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne next April.
Also jumping on as openers on the tour will be fellow US pop punk outfit Grayscale. This Philadelphia act produce anthems bolstered with vulnerability and emotion and over the last few releases have expanded their pop punkier tastes into soulful, smooth emo pop. With a new LP titled The Hart dropping on January 31, this tour also marks the band’s very first taste of Aussie crowds and their visit will no doubt be worth the long wait.
