One of 2000s most prominent acts in pop punk are finally making their way back to Australia in 2025. Yellowcard will hit Aussie shores this April to celebrate 20 years of their staple record, Ocean Avenue.
The band last played for Australians fans in 2017, before they went on hiatus. Fast forward six years and they sparked a resurgence with a return to the stage in September 2022 for Chicago’s Riot Fest. The guys cemented their return to form with brand new EP, Childhood Eyes in May 2023 and followed this up on the When We Were Young Festival.
While Ocean Avenue’s official 20 year anniversary came in 2023, this long-waited Australian tour has been months (okay, two years) in speculation. Expect longtime fans to dig out their old band tees and Vans, as we get to experience all of the hits like ‘Way Away’, ‘Only One’ and ‘Ocean Avenue’ in its live form once more!
Joining Yellowcard on this run of shows will be fellow US alternative/rock acts Motion City Soundtrack and Plain White T’s – both having not played in front of Aussie audiences since 2016 and 2008 respectively.
Destroy All Lines pre-sale kick off on Tuesday 10 December at 5pm local time.
