Thursday 5 December
Support: Wayside
Melbourne’s Northcote Theatre was packed to the brim for Sleeping With Sirens‘ sold-out Good Things sideshow Thursday night. Despite the intense heat, fans came in droves to see the band light up the stage. By the end of the night, it was clear this show would be etched into the memories of everyone lucky enough to be there.
Wayside kicked off the evening with a performance that was nothing short of electric. Every track built onto the last, their sound growing in intensity and resonance as the set went on. Their stage presence and connection with the crowd were undeniable, leaving fans wishing their set could have gone on longer. It was the perfect way to kickstart the night.

Returning to Melbourne stages for the first time since Good Things Festival 2022, Sleeping With Sirens delivered a performance that exceeded every expectation. With a setlist spanning fan favourite classics and new hits, the band kept the energy high and the audience captivated from start to finish.
Highlights included the emotionally charged ‘A Trophy Father’s Trophy Son‘, a rare live treat that struck a deep chord with fans, and the acoustic rendition of ‘With Ears to See and Eyes to Hear‘, where Kellin Quinn’s angelic vocals shone. ‘Better Off Dead’ turned the room into a euphoric sea of voices, uniting the crowd in a moment of pure connection.

The band’s dynamic performance was matched by an impressive lighting setup that kept the visuals as engaging as the music. Even on a blistering 37°C night, the venue’s air conditioning ensured the crowd could fully immerse themselves in the show.
At 5’2”, my view was limited to shoulders and glimpses of the stage, but the flawless sound and electric atmosphere made it a 10/10 experience regardless. The pit was alive with positivity, and the energy carried out into the street as fans left the venue. Everyone I’ve spoken to since has raved about the performance, cementing it as one of the best shows of the year.
This show wasn’t just about the music—it was a night that brought fans together, showcasing the energy and emotion that make Sleeping With Sirens unforgettable.
