“‘You Ominously End’ is about the shame and isolation of dealing with mental illness, especially when you feel unable to check in on loved ones who are also struggling. When writing this song, I focused on capturing that isolating experience through vivid storytelling. The tragic theme of the song is contrasted by country/folk elements, creating a jarring effect. This contrast makes it one of our personal favorite tracks by Arm’s Length.”

The track is the second single to appear from the band’s forthcoming second album, There’s A Whole World Out There, which is slated for release on May 16 through our friends at Pure Noise Records. If ‘You Ominously End’ is anything to go by, you can expect this album to be a hot release for emo/punk fans in 2025.
