Brisbane/Meanjin-based duo JUNO have unleashed their latest single ‘would it kill you?’ this week. This next hit is a massive hit of dopamine into your veins aand it’s surely going to hit the spot for 2000s pop/rock enthusiasts.

The track features explosive guitar hooks with sweet pop melodies in a similar key to Michelle Branch and Avril Lavigne. Vocalist Kahlia Ferguson displays her strong tenacity to power through simple chords with an eclectic edge and we can’t get enough.

It’s been a huge week for JUNO. Kahlia, alongside bassist Sam Woods, also walked away with a win at the Queensland Music Awards for last year’s soul-infused hit ‘I’m the Man’. Expect ‘would it kill you?’ to be even bigger as this duo prepare for world domination.

The duo are set to play a small show at Brisbane’s Black Bear Lodge On April 24. Grab your tickets here
