Southern California deathcore boys Spite will return to Australia in April 2026 for their first-ever Australian headline tour, bringing with them Pennsylvania’s Varials and local heavyweights DIESECT. The band have revealed the full lineup of local supports who will be joining them across this run.

Spite’s seven-date Australian run opens 24 April at Brisbane’s The Triffid with Zuko, wrapping 2 May at Perth’s Amplifier Bar with Pincer+. Fatal Excuse will open up in Newcastle, Ends in Tragedy in Sydney, Wollongong gets Necrosis, Detestor opens up Melbourne and lucky Adelaide has the Signals boys showing up for all you early punters.

Spite’s Australian return is shaping up to be an exercise in pure aggression. Joining them is Varials, the mosh-metal merchants who balance crushing weight with melodic precision, and who came back swinging this year with their long-awaited fourth album WHERE THE LIGHT LEAVES via Fearless Records.

Holding it down for Australia is DIESECT, whose momentum shows no sign of slowing since dropping their HIDE FROM THE LIGHT EP via Greyscale Records. Currently touring Europe alongside Crystal Lake and Miss May I, they’ll be returning home ready to show us why they’re fast becoming one of the country’s most exciting voices in heavy music.
