Southern California four-piece Death Lens are hitting their stride. Their new album, What’s Left Now?, drops April 24 through Epitaph and it’s their sharpest work yet. Heavy, urgent, and loaded with emotion, fans of Drug Church, Viagra Boys, and IDLES will find plenty to love next month, though the record is unmistakably Death Lens.
The band have shared closing track ‘Debt Collector‘, a furious punk anthem about financial pressure and feeling trapped. “It’s about the enslavement of society and just having to pay, pay, pay,” says frontman Bryan Torres. “And there’s really no way out.”
Blending crushing riffs, raw energy, and sharp social commentary. ‘Debt Collector‘ fires off in just over two minutes. It’s a bouncy ambience of carefree punk rock that was, to put it simply, made for the circlepit.
