Drastic Park Continue Their New Trajectory on ‘Freefall’

Melbourne pop punkers Drastic Park have dropped their second single ‘Freefall‘ from their upcoming EP, Compound Fracture.

Following on from ‘Backdown‘ last month, the band are celebrating their newfound easycore blend with punchy pop punk melodies and another Alan Day-produced tune. We particularly love to see that new guitarist Elise Feisbourg sounds effortless and fitting right in on this track as you hear pockets of her vocals inbetween lead vocalist John Stokes’ verses.

“‘Freefall’ is about the guilt of enjoying the touring life, while leaving a loved one behind. It is about finding the balance between what is truly important and what you do for fun. It’s about learning to come down from cloud nine and getting your head out of the clouds.”

It’s a catchy little earworm that’ll send you to your happy place, that’s for sure. Hang tight for more, because their full EP will be released everywhere on September 20.
